Okay, so I lied! SUE ME! I just could not resist stamping just one more card. (Plus, my DH is playing computer games so I had time!) This one I used the oval punch (small size) to create a flower. I have had this one in my head for awhile too and it was nice to get it out. Maybe I can actually start thinking about other card designs now. The flower in the background is from an SU set, but it was in my pile (all the stamps I pulled from sets and have not put away yet -- thus I have no idea where it goes). The sentiment is from Amuse. The colors were chosen randomly by glancing into my scrap bag and picking colors that went together. It is really bright and cheery and I like it. Oh, and you can barely see, but in the background there are some flowers that I stamped with my glue pad (that I got at Hobby Lobby today) and then I adhered white glitter on them. They add some really subtle sparkle to the card. Oh, and I doodled on the petals of the flower just because I felt like it. Ribbon is from a ribbon share Jody did! Thanks!
This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus).
