Summer is HERE! YAY


Sunshine is abundant in Arizona, but today it really felt like summer. It was 85 degrees and bright and sunny and just great weather. The kids and I went to a splash park with some moms and children from church. It was totally fun! I am so glad I went. They just love water! I love watching my children interact with other children. Today they were mostly good, but they like to get their own way and sometimes will gang up on another child so it is two against one, in order for them to get what they want. They were tired and cold after about an hour and were ready to leave, so we packed up the van, went grocery shopping and then went home. It was a long morning/early afternoon and we were all pretty tired.



I just wanted to add that tonight for dinner, in lieu of a recipe because we just barely got a new grill, we decided to have BBQ turkey burgers -- they were great! I love it when M does most of the cooking because before we got the grill, that was like never, and now . . . well, he likes to play with his new toy! I will provide you a yummy recipe next week! Hope you are enjoying life to the fullest!!!

My Decade Later Comeback and Playing Catch Up

Hello friends, It's been awhile and I kind of dropped off the face of the planet since moving to Oregon. I got busy with growing four babies into teens, and attempting to hold together a marriage with a partner who was working out of town for the most part. It was a lot! Hey guys! Happy 2010! I was so not ready for vacation to be done when I had to send my kids back to school yesterday! *sad face* We had such a fantastic break! Guess what though? (SSD014) - Ear Infections and Pneumonia

I apologize for my late posting today . . . the countdown to being 40 weeks preggo continues.  This week has been crazy out of control already, and it's only Tuesday!  YIKES!   Friday night Baby E was running a fever and really congested.  We gave him tylenol/motrin, but he would not take in fluids, and I was worried about him, so I slept on he floor beside his bed (stupid thing to do at 39 weeks pregnant).  Anyway, I cried a bit, and when I woke up in the morning, I had the most intense pain in my right ear ever!  Seriously OW!   Saturday, Mic took the baby to the pediatrician, where he was diagnosed with double ear infections, and pneumonia -- he had a breathing treatment there, and an antibiotic shot . . . and his lungs were sounding much more clear when he left.  Late Saturday night his fever broke, much to our relief.   Sunday was an okay day, mostly we just all rested -- an interesting thought occurred to me while I was on th...
