*NEW* Perfume Sophie PREVIEW (FS113)

Who doesn't just LOVE Sophie Moose? She is so stinkin' cute and this stamp is no exception -- I think it is perfect for a birthday card, girls night out invite, or even for Mother's Day (that is coming up pretty darn quick kids, so get stampin'). I love her shoes. I admit it, I am a shoe girl. Sophie's look like Minnie Mouse shoes and that made me smile!!!

I just love the random colors in this paper (soft sky, pink passion, and prism frosted amethyst) -- they would not be colors I would choose to put together on my own, but they totally work with this card. The layout is another creation using the Featured Stamper challenge. You can see the original card HERE.

This Sophie will be available to purchase at Hanna Stamps on Monday after the release party.

Stamps: Perfume Sophie (Hanna Stamps), Mega Mixed Messages (Papertrey Ink) Paper: Soft Sky (SU!), Frosted Amethyst (Prism), Solar White Classic Crest (Neenah), The Sweet Stack (DCWV) Ink: Onyx Black Versafine Accessories: Copic ciao markers (Imagination International Inc.), Paper flowers (Prima Marketing), sewing machine, white thread, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 inch circle punches (SU!), crystal rhinestone (Darice), 3/8 inch purple gingham (The Paper Studio - Hobby Lobby), 5/8 inch white grosgrain ribbon, diamond stickles (Ranger).

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing ...

Pinecone Balls Revisited

So lately I have been noticing that a lot of the traffic to my blog has been to the tutorial on how to make the pinecone balls that I put together about a year ago. SO, due to the increase in popularity, I thought I would get rid of some of my extra supplies on hand (because I made some already this year again and my fingers are sore enough) -- I have decided to giveaway a kit that contains enough supplies to make three balls. It features some great papers and ribbon and will be similar to the ones you may have seen at orientaltrading.com . I know it is not a huge giveaway, but I thought it would be fun! To enter, tell me what your favorite Christmas tradition is in the comments section of this post. I will draw a random winner on December 1st , so enter today!!! UPDATED: We have a WINNER -- Post number 44 was chosen using the random number generator and the winner is *drum roll please* Rosella said... WOW! I'd love to make some of these beautiful pinecones!
