Spinoff?

Can you believe it it March 1st already???

Okay, since it is Thursday again, but we have a re-run tonight instead of a brand spankin' new Grey's Anatomy, I thought I would discuss with you, what I recently read about a spin-off show.

First things first, I know my husband will be excited about this because he loves Kate Walsh (aka Addison Montgomery). Apparently, she will star in her own new show, a spin-off of Grey's

So, what I want to hear from you all, is, do you think this is a good idea? Would you watch this show? Do you like her character enough? Are you afraid of her taking other cast members with her (aka McSteamy)? What do you think?

Only one more week till the show we all know and love "Grey's Anatomy."

Okay, if they are going to do a spinoff I TOTALLY think it should be a Denny one, not Addison. I had read that shondra was working on one for DEnny, but now it must go on the back burner. Of all the gals on the show, addison is the one I like the least and the one I think has the least personality. I love the actress, just not the character. It will be interesting to see what shondra comes up with. We will have to see!

I'm not too keen on the idea. I think the expectations of it would be too high, dooming it from the start. That said, I love Shonda's writing... if anyone can pull it off, she can. *sigh* I just hate to loose a character, even if it means other new ones to come. ~:-)
I had not heard of this but you have really piqued my interest! I am not sure how I would feel about it since GA is still on. If it were ending and this was like a continuation on a different path, I would be all for it. I just think right now, I would rather have Addison on this one show and leave it at that. JMHO!

Hmmm...did I miss an episode? Is she leaving Grey's? AHHHH!! I don't think I would like it too much. I agree that someone like Denny could have had a better spin-off. I want everyone to just stay right where they are!!!! :)

Nope.. I wouldn't watch it. I don't like Addison enough to be interested. No sireee!
Tho I like Addison much better than I did when she first came on the scene I don't think a spin off is a good idea. Everyone keeps talking about Denny in a spinoff...how is that possible with him being dead?

My DH is actually the one who told me about the spinoff - my first reaction was that it won't last - it seems they are finally developing her character on Grey's and now she's moving on...

I actually stopped watching Grey's after their winter break. I missed a few episodes and then just stopped. I like Addison. I cannot stand Meredith Grey -- she is very annoying to me. Sorry if you guys love her!! :) I would check out the spinoff!

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing ...

My Decade Later Comeback and Playing Catch Up

Hello friends, It's been awhile and I kind of dropped off the face of the planet since moving to Oregon. I got busy with growing four babies into teens, and attempting to hold together a marriage with a partner who was working out of town for the most part. It was a lot! Truth be told, I have been spending most of my time over on Instagram which allows for more quick picture and caption posts (@the.amanda.sewell), but I really, genuinely miss having a journal of our adventures, so I'm back.  Some changes, my ex-partner moved out in October of 2023 (after 23 years of marriage, who would have thought?) and I am on a new, single mom adventure with the fabulous four. Luckily, they are adjusting to the changes well as we navigate this challenging time as a family team. Things are still in flux and hopefully at the end of all of this, the dust will settle and we will end up landing on our feet. Because of this change, I needed to go back to work and after not working for the past lo...
