Start the Year Out Right

So this morning I woke up bright and early and looked online and found out that there was good stuff on sale at Hobby Lobby this week. SO, I got both of the babies diapers changed and then told M I was going to go to Hobby Lobby and off I went. I had a blast. I got all sorts of goodies, a new large acrylic block for some stamps that I have had forever waiting to mount from starvingartistamps, some ribbon cards for all the new ribbon I have, and even some fun paper! What a perfect way to start off 2007. I am so behind on stamping that today I plan to spend most of the day working on some projects, so check back later to see what I have created. *smiles*

I shopped at Hobby Lobby today also - found some great ribbon at 66% off (it is supposed to be Christmas ribbon, but it sure likes Valentine's to me). You bought some fun stuff! Happy New Year

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus).
