Bloggers Only Valentine Swap - Amanda Sewell

This is my Valentine for the swap! As you can tell, it was created back when I was totally addicted to those Stampabilites lips. I really loved this paper when I saw it in Hobby Lobby and just had to have it. I thought it would be perfect for this swap. I have seriously had a paper addiction lately. It is crazy how much paper I have acquired lately. Hopefully I will use it more frequently. I was asked to be the host of a monthly scrapbook night that I can schedule for whenever I like. I decided that I would do this cause it sounds like fun, so I am sure I will use that paper up.

the scan does not do it justice! I love this card and the colors- really like how you changed "lipstick" for it ont h different sides!

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. My Decade Later Comeback and Playing Catch Up

Hello friends, It's been awhile and I kind of dropped off the face of the planet since moving to Oregon. I got busy with growing four babies into teens, and attempting to hold together a marriage with a partner who was working out of town for the most part. It was a lot! Truth be told, I have been spending most of my time over on Instagram which allows for more quick picture and caption posts (@the.amanda.sewell), but I really, genuinely miss having a journal of our adventures, so I'm back.  Some changes, my ex-partner moved out in October of 2023 (after 23 years of marriage, who would have thought?) and I am on a new, single mom adventure with the fabulous four. Luckily, they are adjusting to the changes well as we navigate this challenging time as a family team. Things are still in flux and hopefully at the end of all of this, the dust will settle and we will end up landing on our feet.
