This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Ahhh Grumpabella! Apparently she is under the weather so her grumpiness is acceptable . . . this time *grin* -- I loved this sketch, but I was having trouble with it the other direction, so I decided to turn it on its side and I am so glad I did. Paper (DCWV - as seen before on a cow card a few posts back) - was purchased at JoAnns. In fact, I was there today and considered getting some more of it because I really love how well it matches with the SU! colors. Get Well Soon sentiment was created using my Karen Foster Snap Stamps - (Small Casual) -- and I think I might just have to go get the size smaller of the snap stamps because I just love them!!! Background is stamped tone on tone with ballet blue (using the SU! Crosshatch background which is retiring). Primas were sponged with a bit of ballet blue ink to make them match more perfectly. Bella was watercolored using ink pads and my aquapainter.
