Bloggers Only Valentine Swap - Alora Sweetser

I decided to post these cards on my blog starting today as a countdown to my birthday on February 9th. I figure that way you can get some ideas (*cough cough - CASE) from them before Valentines Day. Please if you do borrow ideas -- give credit to the stamper. These will be done alphabetically. Recipes are listed at the bottom. I hope you will check back everyday to see the newest card from the Bloggers Only Valentine Swap!

Alora Sweetser (StampinSweetie)

Stamps: Love Matters, Canvas and Everyday Flexible Phrases. Paper: Almost Amythest, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Shimmery White. Inks: Black Staz On, Almost Amythest. Accessories: Dimensionals, Rich Regals Brads, Sweet Shoppe Ribbon, Crafters Tool Kit (Mat Pack), Aquapainters, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Stamp-A-Ma- Jig.

I just loved the paper piercing on this card. Also, the subtle background is just gorgeous!!! Oh, and that watercoloring is amazing! Props to Alora for watercoloring on a swap!!! *smiles*

I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus).
