HANNA SNEAK PEEK: 5 Little Dresses

Did you miss me? I know! It has been forever since I blogged. I have been busy working in my back yard with M to get everything done, and been busy keeping up on life, watching a cute baby grow, etc. I promise to update on both of those things soon . . .

It is with sadness that I bring you the news that I will no longer be on the design team for Hanna Stamps. It has been a fun ride for over a year and Kristi is making some business changes and changing the size of her design team as well as other things. This will be my last month with sneak peeks for you, but rest assured it will not be my last time playing with Riley, Sophie, Hanna and the gang!!! Thanks again for the opportunity Kristi!!!

I SOON will be designing for someone new (stamps should be on their way as we speak), some gorgeous new stamps I just know you are going to LOVE . . . I promise to let you know more about that soon! And August I am hoping you will head over to embellish-online to see my work there as I guest design (I told you about that a couple weeks ago).

On to the HANNA STAMPS sneak peeks . . . This set is a must have!!! I ADORE it! It is my favorite of the sets this release! I mean, it is just too darn cute and totally versatile!! You can pair any of these gorgeous gals with almost any sentiment and it works! SERIOUSLY!! Here are a couple of the cards I made with it:

ON NO Amanda! I told Kristi that you were the inspiration behind me purchasing Rocker Hanna and Graduation Hanna - your absence will definitely be felt on their design team. But I know you are uber-talented and will create gorgeous visions for us all no matter what companies' stamps you use. Good luck on your new upcoming endoeavor!

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus).
