HANNA STAMPS: BBQ Riley - Summer BBQ Kit

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!!!

I thought this would be fun to give to a neighbor. Kit contains a basting brush, a recipe for a potato salad, Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce (YUM - it's the BEST), and a package of corn holders (for your grilled corn on the cob). I love grilling in the summer! This Riley is available NOW at Hanna Stamps.

I got the little bucket that I put all the stuff in at Target. I thought they would be perfect for something so I got 5. Seriously, for only $1, they are AWESOME! Also, I have been playing with my new Dymo label maker. I have wanted a label maker for awhile, but when the grocery store near me was clearancing them, I could not resist!!!

Stamps: BBQ Riley (Hanna Stamps) Paper: Basic Black (SU!), Real Red (SU!), Solar White Classic Crest (Neenah), Grillin' It Up - BBQ Collection (Adornit - Carolees Creations) Ink: Onyx Black Versafine (Tsukineko) Accessories: Assorted ribbons, copic ciao markers (Imagination International Inc.), label maker (Dymo)

Very cute little bucket of goodies. That's my FAVORITE BBQ sauce, making some BBQ pork for dinner with that same BBQ sauce ;-)

Amanda this is such a great idea! I wish I was your neighbour! I've often seen those metal buckets and have so far avoided the urge to buy them...but I think I might pick up a few next time I see them! Thanks for the great idea...these would be great to take to a BBQ as a hostess gift! or Teacher gifts....oh you got my wheels spinning now!!! lol TFS

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing ...

Pinecone Balls Revisited

So lately I have been noticing that a lot of the traffic to my blog has been to the tutorial on how to make the pinecone balls that I put together about a year ago. SO, due to the increase in popularity, I thought I would get rid of some of my extra supplies on hand (because I made some already this year again and my fingers are sore enough) -- I have decided to giveaway a kit that contains enough supplies to make three balls. It features some great papers and ribbon and will be similar to the ones you may have seen at orientaltrading.com . I know it is not a huge giveaway, but I thought it would be fun! To enter, tell me what your favorite Christmas tradition is in the comments section of this post. I will draw a random winner on December 1st , so enter today!!! UPDATED: We have a WINNER -- Post number 44 was chosen using the random number generator and the winner is *drum roll please* Rosella said... WOW! I'd love to make some of these beautiful pinecones!
