HANNA STAMPS - Bowling

I have been wanting to make this for weeks now, but somehow stuff just kept getting in the way and it kept getting pushed back and pushed back. Oh well, such is life.

This is a bowling bag tag. You would attach this to your ball bag, or even shoe bag, and it has your name and phone number in case you accidentally leave it behind at the alley.

Stamps: Bowling Hanna (Hanna Stamps), Karen Foster Design Snap Stamps - Tiny Casual Paper: Chocolate Chip (SU!), Pumpkin Pie (SU!), Daydream: Patio Umbrella (October Afternoon), Solar White Classic Crest (Neenah) Ink: Onyx Black Versafine Accessories: Clear embossing powder, diamond stickles (Ranger), Copic ciao markers (Imagination International Inc.), luggage tag, pink gingham ribbon (SU!), Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon (SU!), green with white polka dots organdy (Michaels Stores Inc.).

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing ...

My Decade Later Comeback and Playing Catch Up

Hello friends, It's been awhile and I kind of dropped off the face of the planet since moving to Oregon. I got busy with growing four babies into teens, and attempting to hold together a marriage with a partner who was working out of town for the most part. It was a lot! Truth be told, I have been spending most of my time over on Instagram which allows for more quick picture and caption posts (@the.amanda.sewell), but I really, genuinely miss having a journal of our adventures, so I'm back.  Some changes, my ex-partner moved out in October of 2023 (after 23 years of marriage, who would have thought?) and I am on a new, single mom adventure with the fabulous four. Luckily, they are adjusting to the changes well as we navigate this challenging time as a family team. Things are still in flux and hopefully at the end of all of this, the dust will settle and we will end up landing on our feet. Because of this change, I needed to go back to work and after not working for the past lo...
