HANNA PREVIEW - Rock Star Hanna

I just love this Hanna. She will be available Monday, March 2nd at Hanna Stamps! There are SO many fun stamps in this set, I know it will be a must have! She is colored using copic markers and then I added both diamond stickles (guitar and amp) and spica clear glitter pen (boots, skirt) to the image. I also went over the sentiment in spica clear glitter to give it a little something something. It looks really shimmery and fun.

Stamps: Rock Star Hanna (Hanna Stamps), Things Hanna Would Say (Hanna Stamps) Paper: Ruby Red (SU!), Solar Whie Classic Crest (Neenah), Adore (Prima Romantica Collection) Ink: Onyx Black Versafine Accessories: Large Corner rounder (EK Success), 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 inch circle punch (SU!), silver brads, white with black dots grosgrain (Dots, Dashes & Checks - Michaels Stores Inc.), Diamond stickles (Ranger) , copic ciao markers (Imagination International Inc.), atyou spica - clear (Imagination International Inc.),

I am trying to improve my photography of my cards. I feel like I am a step behind everyone in this, so let me know what you think and feel free to give me advice and tips to improve.

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing ...

My Decade Later Comeback and Playing Catch Up

Hello friends, It's been awhile and I kind of dropped off the face of the planet since moving to Oregon. I got busy with growing four babies into teens, and attempting to hold together a marriage with a partner who was working out of town for the most part. It was a lot! Truth be told, I have been spending most of my time over on Instagram which allows for more quick picture and caption posts (@the.amanda.sewell), but I really, genuinely miss having a journal of our adventures, so I'm back.  Some changes, my ex-partner moved out in October of 2023 (after 23 years of marriage, who would have thought?) and I am on a new, single mom adventure with the fabulous four. Luckily, they are adjusting to the changes well as we navigate this challenging time as a family team. Things are still in flux and hopefully at the end of all of this, the dust will settle and we will end up landing on our feet. Because of this change, I needed to go back to work and after not working for the past lo...
