Preggo Brain, LSC190 - Pajama Riley Moose, and the OCC Challenge

Happy Friday! Would you believe it if I told you that after I reminded you all and everything, somehow I accidentally shut off my DVR, so of course, no recording of Greys! EEK! Now I get to struggle with the masses to watch it online -- such a stinking pain! Grrr! It appears like it might be on the DVR, but we shall have to wait and see. *cross your fingers for me*

I stamped a card for the limited supply challenge! I thought it would be hard, but it actually was not that bad for me. THE CHALLENGE: only use

-Stamps, card stock

- One Single sheet of designer paper (if it's double sided please use only one side)

-eyelets and one ribbon as your only embellishments

- Use the color blue in your card! (Doesn't have to be the main color, but be sure to incorporate it in there!

So what can't you use today? No punches, no cuttlebugs and no embellishments other than the ones mentioned above!

Oh, and as promised, I used the Riley in PJ's stamp that was released as of last months Hanna Stamp release date -- if you don't have him yet, head on over to Hanna Stamps and add him to your cart!!! So CUTE!!! Card Sketch came from A Page at a Time forum.

Stamps: Pajama Riley (Hanna Stamps), Sentiment (River City Rubberworks) Paper: Bashful Blue (SU!), Barely Banana (SU!), Neenah Solar Crest White, Reminisce Easter Chick Double Sided Shimmery Paper Ink: Onyx Black Versafine Accessories: Yellow Eyelets, Sewing Machine, White thread, blue gingham ribbon, copic markers, clear embossing powder

Here is my second challenge of the day! This one was issued on Our Creative Corner and was to make a card any shape but square or rectangle. I opted for a circle using my nesties -- I think it will make the perfect gift card tag for a special gift for someone. The inside of the card slides out from behind the cover and you can write on a white circle there.

Stamps: Snowman Riley Moose (Hanna Stamps), Things Riley Would Say (Hanna Stamps) Paper: Wild Wasabi (SU!), Real Red (SU!), Neenah Solar Crest White Ink: Onyx Black Versafine Accessories: Clear embossing powder, diamond stickles, white Ranger Inkssentials gel pen, copic markers, red sheer dotted organdy ribbon, green Heidi Swapp retro brad (Hanna Stamps), sewing machine, white thread, paper piercing tool, circle plastic canvas

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing
