HANNA PREVIEW: Ski Bunny

So I am excited for tonight! It is the premiere of Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money (which in spite of the fact that some people think this is a stupid show, I actually adore it and find it hilarious!) YAY for good TV! I love the fall. And Private Practice is just funny! Seriously don't know when I will get all the stamping done I need to now. Thank goodness for the DVR so that when I can't sleep at night cause this baby inside me is getting big and uncomfortable, I can sit and watch my shows that I have missed.

Luckily for you, I already made some fun cards with this set -- which releases tomorrow night at the release party (midnight or so), called Ski Bunny! Whether you ski or not, this Hanna is absolutely precious and you are going to love her. Plus the set it totally useful for other wintery type cards -- so it will be on your must have list for sure!! I got a little carried away with liquid applique and ended up using it on both these cards -- but I hope you will like them anyway. Oh and I got this marvelous shimmery paper at some store in Utah last year for 25% off -- I used it on both of these cards as well -- how pretty eh??? You should see it in real life, Hanna just shimmers!!!

(SC193) Stamps: Ski Bunny (Hanna Stamps) Paper: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Shimmery White, Basic Grey - Oh Baby! - Lilac Ink: Lavender Lace, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Onyx Black Versafine Accessories: Copic markers, Sewing machine, white thread, SU circle punches (1 1/4 and 1 3/8), Clear embossing powder, Sandylion Essentials pop up stickers (snowflakes), Ranger Glossy Accents (on goggles and heart at bottom), liquid applique (white)

This one is for all you non-skiers -- and to be realistic, this now includes me since I can't ski pregnant, I live in AZ and rarely have time to escape to the mountains to ski with two little ones, and I know I won't be headed there anytime soon -- but one day I will get back. For now though, winter can mean mittens, scarves and hot cocoa (YUM) complete with whipped cream on top (or marshmallows if you prefer). Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Stamps: Ski Bunny (Hanna Stamps) Paper: Shimmery White, Ballet Blue, Brilliant Blue Ink: Onyx Black Versafine, Ballet Blue, Brilliant Blue Accessories: Copic markers, sewing machine, white thread, Circle nestabilities, white gel pen, white brads, liquid applique

Happy October 1st, I am off to get an oil change on my M's car done, and clean up my house (somehow the house elves missed it so someone needs to). If you have not heard about this weeks BLOG CANDY and BLOG HOP {HERE} -- Go check out that post and make sure to get yourself entered as many times as you can!!! See you tomorrow for one final preview and the PARTY!!!!

Yummy cards. What makes the marshmellows puff out in the cup like that? Is it the gel pen?

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing
