*** BLOG CANDY *** POST #500

Can you believe it? I have just been blogging right along and here I am posting my 500th post! YAY!

To celebrate, I decided to make a gift set of Riley Moose Christmas Cards (6 cards with envelopes) in a clear plastic card box) to give away to one of you lucky readers, who makes a comment on this post. I will choose a winner on Friday, October 10th at noon AZ time. Tell your friends, tell your dog, tell everyone:

INKSPIRATIONS hit 500 posts!!!

These cards were created using Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge (#60) and I added glitter on the snow that is falling as well as on the tree, which qualifies this card as part of the Our Creative Corner bling challenge of the week as well.

Stamps: Christmas Tree Riley (Hanna Stamps), All Holidays (SU!) Paper: American Crafts {Rudolph}, Real Red (SU!), Whisper White (SU!), Kraft (SU!), Glorious Green (SU!), Neenah Solar White Ink: Onyx Black Versafine Accessories: Copic Markers, Clear Embossing Powder, Diamond Stickles, Sewing Machine, White thread, Cuttlebug, Snowflakes Embossing Folder

GOOD LUCK!!!

I too went to the Austin (TEXAS!) Swap, and did the superb Pirate Riley Card! Now that I am back home in New Jersey, I am all excited about the new Rileys on the Hanna Site! I'm already getting an order together now!

Lovely job on the wintery card! The embossing and stitching really helps to make an already gorgeous card pop! Congratulations on 500 hits! What an accomplishment!

The big 500 -yeah and to think I am just a tiny part of it! I love Riley all decked out in his winter finest. By the way, I just told my dog about the 500 - sorry he wasn't too enthused - maybe if it was a cat rather than a moose he might have paid a bit more attention. Anyway, I love seeing all your creations! Thanks!

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus).
