Zelda the Zombie

In my quest to find some Halloween images that I adore (because I am literally obsessed with this right now), I came across Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and fell in LOVE!  I found that they sold them at 7kidscollegefund . . . which just happens to be located in Phoenix, so I placed my order and picked them up a couple days later (because I was SO eager to get them and couldn't wait for them to be shipped to me) and I have been having SO much fun playing with them.

This card is my least favorite of the four I made this week.  I like it, it is just missing some pizzazz...maybe if I play with the stamp some more I will come up with something more magical.  Anyway, thanks for stopping by for a visit!  Have a great Wednesday!

P.S.  I also adore this set called Mimi Halloween (Penny Black) . . . does anyone know where I can buy it for not super expensive shipping?  If you do, please let me know in the comments because I am obsessing over it but I refuse to pay so much shipping for it . . . surely I can find it somewhere . . .

Stamps:  Zelda the Zombie (Kraftin' Kimmie), Happy Halloween (Saavy Stamps)  Paper:  More Mustard (SU!), Solar White Classic Crest (Neenah), Basic Black (SU!), Eerie Collection (Basic Grey)  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)  Accessories:  Black brads (The Paper Studio - Hobby Lobby), Sewing machine (Singer), Black thread (Singer), Copic markers.

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing ...

Pinecone Balls Revisited

So lately I have been noticing that a lot of the traffic to my blog has been to the tutorial on how to make the pinecone balls that I put together about a year ago. SO, due to the increase in popularity, I thought I would get rid of some of my extra supplies on hand (because I made some already this year again and my fingers are sore enough) -- I have decided to giveaway a kit that contains enough supplies to make three balls. It features some great papers and ribbon and will be similar to the ones you may have seen at orientaltrading.com . I know it is not a huge giveaway, but I thought it would be fun! To enter, tell me what your favorite Christmas tradition is in the comments section of this post. I will draw a random winner on December 1st , so enter today!!! UPDATED: We have a WINNER -- Post number 44 was chosen using the random number generator and the winner is *drum roll please* Rosella said... WOW! I'd love to make some of these beautiful pinecones! I think my fa...
