HANNA STAMPS - Mommy To Be (CPS113)

Busy day today! Birthday parties and back yard stuff . . . we are getting there . . . I cannot wait till it is all done. Anyway, thought I would post nice and early!

I just love this set! Maybe it is that I am sentimental about being a mommy lately because of the crazy hormones still working themselves out of my system after the new baby . . . not sure. Can you believe that baby E is 5 months old??? AHHH! Time is zooming!

How sweet is this image? I just love it. I made this card for the CPS blog Sketch # 113.

Stamps: Mommy to Be (Hanna Stamps), Mega Mixed Messages (Papertrey Ink) Paper: Pale Plum (SU!), Jardin - Wisteria (Basic Grey), Purple Fancy Paper (Stamp Its - Paper Scrap Pack - Target Stores Inc.), Solar White Classic Crest (Neenah) Ink: Onyx Black Versafine (Tsukineko) Accessories: Pale Plum Buttons (SU!), Sewing machine (Singer), white thread (Sulky), 1 1/4 circle punch (SU!), Labels 1 Nesatabilities (Spellbinders), Copic ciao markers (Imagination International Inc.)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and spend lots of time out in the sun with your family! See you back here soon and thanks for visiting!

Lovely color combo with the plum and wisteria. The paper choices complement your coloring on the image.

I just wanted to add that it's helpful to have the brand names listed for your materials. That's more work for you, but it gives your visitors a lot more useful information.

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus).
