HANNA SNEAK PEEK: BBQ Riley

Ahhh summer! The best thing about summer is grilling. Riley knows this and here he is enjoying his grill. YUM!

This Riley will be available May 4th after the release party over at SCS on the HANNA STAMPS site. Sketch is from Jen del Muro's blog, sketch for you to try (4-18-2009). (Apparently today is I *heart* Jen del Muro day on my blog- lol). I added the little circle sentiment because I wanted to put a sentiment and there was no spot so I fudged the sketch a little. *smiles*

Stamps: Barbecue Riley (Hanna Stamps) Paper: Basic Black (SU!), Real Red (SU!), Solar White Classic Crest (Neenah), Vellum Cardstock (SU!), BBQ Squares - BBQ Collection (Adornit - Carolees Creations) Ink: Onyx Black Versafine (Tsukineko) Accessories: Copic ciao markers (Imagination International Inc.), black gelly roll pen (Sakura), Sewing machine (Singer), black thread (Sulky), Black double stitched grosgrain ribbon (Ribbon FX - Hobby Lobby)

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus).
