HANNA STAMPS - Train Riley (SFYTT/CC213)

Sorry it took so long for me to post this one today -- my camera battery died and then I had to find the charger cord and if you saw the current state of my stamp studio, you would know why. *giggling* It always is messy, but after a release is the worst!!!

Here is train Riley Moose -- released just last night after the release party. Hope you will hop on over to HANNA STAMPS and check out all the new stuff!! This one is perfect for all things little boy -- I mean, have you ever met a little by who does not have even just a tiny bit of interest in trains??? All aboard!

I used the color challenge from today over at Splitcoast. The colors were so saffron, close to cocoa and bashful blue. My train was more bashful blue until I decided to put the waterfall stickles on it and it became a little less bashful, but I still really like it. Sketch came from Jen del Muro's blog -- it is her sketch for you to try from this weekend. I don't like square cards, so I changed the sketch a bit to make it work for normal card size, but I still think it counts for the sketch.

Stamps: Train Riley (Hanna Stamps), Mega Mixed Messages (Papertrey Ink) Paper: Bashful Blue (SU!), So Saffron (SU!), Solar White Classic Crest (Neenah), The Sweet Stack (DCWV) Ink: Onyx Black Versafine (Tsukineko) Accessories: Clear Embossing powder (SU!), copic ciao markers (Imagination International Inc.), blue gingham ribbon (SU!), white dots brown grosgrain ribbon (Michaels Stores Inc.), Waterfall stickles (Ranger), sewing machine (Singer), white thread (Sulky), 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 inch square punches (SU!).

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing
