HANNA PREVIEW: CAFE

GOOD MORNING! So last week, I got all flustered and almost posted this last Monday -- that would have been lucky for you, but it's finally that time again . . . time for me to start teasing you with some of the new Hanna images that will be released JUNE 6th. Are you ready? Is your wallet? I love the sets this month -- as usual they have something to offer everyone. Hope you will be able to make it to the release party on SCS to play in some challenges and be the first to get your new stamps! So without further adieu, here is a preview:

This image is a lot of fun to color. I loved that I could do makeup detail on her -- I added some brown eyeshadow, and pale pink blush. She is such a glam gal! Seriously wait till you see more stamps in this set -- this is just the tip top . . . there are lots of sentiments, and little stamps and WOW! You are gonna love it! Layout inkspiration came from the Featured Stamper Challenge, last week, peanutbee. Her gallery is just lovely and I found this layout that I thought would work perfectly with Hanna. I also found a couple of other layouts that I am totally going to CASE, so watch for those coming soon!!!

Stamps: Hanna Stamps - Cafe, My Sentiments Exactly (C435) Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Basic Grey { Blush Collection} - Eternity
Ink: Versafine {Onyx Black}, Ruby Red, Rose Red Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils, Sansodor, Silver Brads, Oval Punch, Wide Satin Ribbon in Caramel color, Sewing machine, brown thread, 3D glue dots by ZOTS, sponges

I participated in the Technique Lovers Challenge (TLC171) today on Splitcoaststampers. It was called "The Whole Enchilada" and the challenge was to create a set of 3x3 note cards, their envelopes and a box for them. I used my Hanna Stamps Cafe set and my last sheet of pretty in pink paper (apparently I need to place an SU order soon) and this is what I created.

Stamps: Hanna Stamps - Cafe Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White Ink: Onyx Black Versafine, close to cocoa Accessories: Chocolate Brown Dotted Organdy, Small SU circle punch, prismacolor pencils, sansodor, blending stumps, marvy uchida giga scalloped square, singer sewing machine, brown thread, sponge

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus). Stamps : For the Soul (Hanna Stamps), "God Bless" sentiment by American Art Stamp Paper: Lily Kate - Basic Grey, Neenah Solar White, SU vellum card stock, SU Whisper White Ink : Onyx Black Versafine Accessories : Sheer 5/8th Inch organdy ribbon, Nestabilities (Circle and scalloped circle), sewing machine, white thread, circle of plastic canvas, copic markers, white brads, paper piercing
