Time is running out . . .

Wondering where I am??? Well, M and I decided that we wanted to get the downstairs and the loft painted before my mom and my inlaws come to visit us over christmas, so I have been painting up a storm. My mom arrives on the 20th, which leaves me *gasp* only 9 more days to get it done. I will post some pictures of the room so far -- I am in the middle of painting a red wall, so when you see the nasty pink primer .. . don't snicker too hard . . .

I promise I will get back to stamping soon -- maybe even late tonight -- because I have to come up with a card design for a stamp class/christmas ball class on Thursday night . . . so I need to get crackin'

Anyway, just wanted to keep you updated so you all don't start to worry and think I am in trouble or that I got sick or at the very worst, my stamp room burned to the ground. *smiles*

Hi Amanda,
I've been a subscriber for several months. Don't worry - we're not going anywhere and I think most everyone understands that this time of year is very hectic. Please take care of yourself and try to enjoy the holidays. I realize we all want our houses to look perfect - but if they're not- that's OK too.

Happy Holidays! and Relax! :)

HANNA PREVIEW: For the Soul

This set is totally cool! I have not seen anything like it! I think it is perfect for a sympathy card, a thinking of you, a little hand out at church, maybe even for cards at Easter (thinking ahead here) etc. It is so CUTE! Hanna looks so angelic and well, to be completely honest, reminds me of my little sister (not sure why). I used the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (#83) for the layout. I was going for a "touched by an angel" look on the main image (and I think I kind of created that.) I used vellum to overlay the image to give it that glossy fuzz (soft focus).
