To Springfield, VA

Today we made it to my grandma's house -- and perfect timing too. They were coming home from a trip to South Dakota, and got home less than an hour before we arrived. We went to dinner at Old Country Buffet. The kids liked it there and really enjoyed the endless chocolate milk. We stayed overnight and visited with Grandma and Grandpa (E and J's great grandma and grandpa.) It was hard to be at their house because there were lots of trinkets and I was scared the kids would break something.

I had planned to visit some other friends in Manassas area, but Stephanie went out of town suddenly because of a death, and my upline Marsha, had been on the go and I did not hear from her in time. The picture was really hard to get because I basically had to throw both kids on her lap and step back really fast and snap. The kids were really really squirmy! I am so glad that I did though. I think it is great that I have a picture of them with their Great Grandma.

My Decade Later Comeback and Playing Catch Up

Hello friends, It's been awhile and I kind of dropped off the face of the planet since moving to Oregon. I got busy with growing four babies into teens, and attempting to hold together a marriage with a partner who was working out of town for the most part. It was a lot! Luckily, they are adjusting to the changes well as we navigate this challenging time as a family team. (SSD014) - Ear Infections and Pneumonia

I apologize for my late posting today . . . the countdown to being 40 weeks preggo continues.  This week has been crazy out of control already, and it's only Tuesday!  YIKES!   Friday night Baby E was running a fever and really congested.  We gave him tylenol/motrin, but he would not take in fluids, and I was worried about him, so I slept on he floor beside his bed (stupid thing to do at 39 weeks pregnant).  Anyway, I cried a bit, and when I woke up in the morning, I had the most intense pain in my right ear ever!  Seriously OW!   Saturday, Mic took the baby to the pediatrician, where he was diagnosed with double ear infections, and pneumonia -- he had a breathing treatment there, and an antibiotic shot . . . and his lungs were sounding much more clear when he left.  Late Saturday night his fever broke, much to our relief.   Sunday was an okay day, mostly we just all rested -- an interesting thought occurred to me while I was on th...
